My father is from Mexico and lives somewhere in chihuahua. Mother is from Oregon and they were never married. From what I read you need to have your Mexican parent's birth certificate and ID. I have copies of them but not original copies in black and white. Would I need to have him send me the originals via mail? or is there an easier way for me to go about this in order to get my dual citizenship. My birth certificate says my fathers full name and that he was born in Mexico. Any information is greatly appreciated.
